George Brubaker has worked on:

·        All types of bandmills, from conventional strain systems, compound strain systems and high strain bandmills such as air over mechanical, air systems as well as hydraulic systems.

·        All types of edger’s like the 2 saw pony edger; bull edgers, double arbour gang edger’s both conventional collared and guide.  As well as over head guided single arbour edger’s.

·        All type of saws from inserted tooth, swaged tooth, satellite, and carbide tipped thin kerf saws.  Saws which are collared and guided.  Conventional sawing and counter cut sawing and band saws as well as trimmers and cut-off saws.

George has developed and maintained manual size control programs, installed and maintained real time size control systems used on headsaws, resaws and edger’s. George has worked with saw control systems which measure sawing deviation and equipment which will adjust the feed rates to maintain sizes on both bandsaws and saw carriage drives.

George has taken a 2.030” cutting program manufacturing 4 pieces of bevel siding down to a 1.780” cutting program.  This was accomplished by reducing saw plate and kerf on the breakdown resaws as well as to reduce the planning allowance without loosing grade or sizes.
